National President (Worldwide), University of Lagos Alumni Association, Engr. IfeOluwa Oyedele, FNSE today signed a purchase agreement with Messrs Eemediba Limited on the Bookeye Pro Scanner, which will digitalise and fast-track the processing and collection of transcripts by Alumni members.
The signing of the agreement is in fulfilment of Engr. Oyedele’s pledge to donate the equipment during a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Folasade Ogunsola, FAS, in January 2023.
The donation of the multi-million naira scanner to the University is in his personal capacity.
Signing the agreement at the Alumni Jubilee House, the President said the equipment would assist the University to accelerate the digitisation of Students’ Records and increase the capacity of the University to respond faster to requests for transcripts from the alumni.
He also charged Mr Ben Onyibe, MD/CEO, of Eemediba Limited, who is also an Akokite, on the prompt delivery of the equipment.
Present at the occasion to witness the signing of the purchase agreement were the Secretariat staff including the Executive Secretary, Mrs Yetunde Abatan and the Digital Media Officer, Mr Jeremiah Olatinwo.
